I am truly fortunate to be a part of the team here at Gold Rush, where students come first. I am a Colorado native. I went to college at Colorado State University studying Human Development. I then attended University of Colorado where I received my elementary education license and a Master degree in Special Education. I have recently gone back to grad school in the Visual Impairment program. This is my eigth year in the district and eleventh year teaching. I enjoy working with the wonderful students in my program, they teach me something new every single day!
When I am not at GRE, I enjoy spending time with my handsome fiancee Jeff. We are excited to be planning our upcoming mountain wedding. I am an avid sports fan and support all my Colorado teams-Broncos, Nuggets and Avs. I am also entering my 6th year of roller derby for the Wreckin Roller Rebels in Denver!
